Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Live-In Carer to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in a home setting. Duties
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all medication activities
- Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met while accommodating dietary restrictions
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness
- Support emergency response procedures by maintaining first aid readiness and coordinating with healthcare professionals when necessary
Requirements
- Proven assisted living or home care experience, ideally including knowledge of caring for someone who is partially sighted, and partially deaf, with a diagnosis of lymphoma
- Strong background in client care.
- Knowledge of medication administration, first aid certification, and basic health monitoring skills
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car with reliable driving record for transportation needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work full-time hours in a live-in capacity, including occasional overnight shifts
- Must hold a valid Enhanced Access NI or DBS check.
