An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Reservations Supervisor.
We are looking for an organised, commercially minded and customer-focused reservations professional who enjoys taking ownership and delivering an excellent guest experience.
The role
This is a stand-alone position responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of the hotel’s Reservations department. You will manage bookings from enquiry through to arrival, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and excellent communication across the hotel.
Key responsibilities include:
● Managing enquiries, bookings, amendments, cancellations and pre-arrival requirements.
● Maintaining accurate reservations, rates, availability, billing and payment information.
● Managing group bookings, contracts, deposits and rooming lists.
● Using Opera and other hotel systems confidently.
● Supporting occupancy and wider commercial objectives.
● Handling complex reservation queries and resolving issues professionally.
● Working closely with Guest Services and other departments.
● Ensuring brand standards, reservation procedures and payment policies are followed.
● Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and guest experience.
● Acting as the hotel’s Reservations Expert and providing guidance to colleagues when required.
What we’re looking for
Ideally, you will have:
● Previous experience in hotel reservations or a similar hospitality role.
● Strong knowledge of Opera.
● Good understanding of individual, group and contracted reservations.
● Commercial awareness and an understanding of hotel revenue.
● Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail.
● Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
● The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
● A proactive approach and willingness to improve processes.
● A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
