Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator / Nursery Practitioner to join our amazing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 2 childcare qualification (please do NOT apply if you are not qualified), a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with babies and children. We can offer part time (up to 27hrs) or full time (36hrs), with immediate start available.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience working with children in an early years setting is essential.
- A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Childcare is essential.
- An enthusiastic and play-oriented approach to helping children thrive.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Manage daily routines, eg meal times, playtime, and nap times, ensuring all children's needs are met.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
