Power Body Nutrition Ltd / Olivit is one of the UK and EU’s leading online retailers of sports nutrition and health supplements. Established in 2008 and based in York, we supply over 10,000 products from more than 100 international brands to customers across the UK and Europe. The group also operates from a location in Poznań, Poland.
The opportunity
As our supplier base continues to grow, we are creating a new Supplier Manager position to strengthen how we manage our supplier relationships. Reporting directly to the Procurement & Commercial Growth Director, you will take ownership of a defined portfolio of suppliers - predominantly the direct brand partners whose products we retail, alongside a smaller number of indirect suppliers.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing supplier relationships end to end, acting as the company's primary commercial contact,
- Identifying gaps in portfolio and onboarding new suppliers,
- Leading a structured programme of supplier business reviews,
- Negotiating commercial terms, pricing and promotional agreements,
- Identifying and recovering commercial value across the supplier base,
- Maintaining accurate supplier records and management information,
- Occasional travel to supplier meetings, trade events across the world,
About you
You are an experienced procurement, buying or supplier management professional with strong commercial instincts and the confidence to represent the business externally - in meetings, on calls and face to face. You are an able negotiator, well organised, comfortable working with data, and capable of managing a portfolio with a high degree of autonomy.
Advantageous, though not essential:
- Polish language skills, given our operations in Poland
- Experience or interest in sports nutrition, health supplements or FMCG
- CIPS qualification, or progress towards one
The package
- £44,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
