Accountability
Field Service Activities
- Site visits and generating proposals for larger works will be a regular element of the role along with building a pipeline of small works to supplement these projects.
- There is an existing customer base as well as a large install base where the Service Sales Manager is expected to develop site contracts and propose Armstrong service offerings.
- Alongside the install base there are new projects that require service proposals to be closed out.
- Attend site surveys for works that will include noting equipment data, discussing works required and preparing proposals
- Follow up on quotations generated by internal service sales.
- Increase service revenue from installed base by contacting sites and arranging appointments to discuss offer.
Sales
- Deliver Armstrong services to both a new and existing customer base, focusing on end users, building owners and facilities managers.
- Services including commissioning, maintenance, remedial works, remote analytics as well as replacement plant including pump, pressurisation and booster sets.
- Drive Sales of Armstrong Optimisation products in the Energy Upgrade market, in conjunction with the UK BDM Optimisation & Energy Upgrades
- Manage existing serviced customer accounts including renewal contracts, remedial works and upselling replacement equipment.
- Maintain CRM Pipeline
Monthly Reports
- Manage monthly targets and forecast expected revenue.
- Promote extended services, including remote analytics & optimisation products, within new project proposals.
- Generate new sales by approaching new customers.
What We’re Looking For
The role requires both technical dependency alongside a sales dependency allowing the individual to both generate proposals and close them out.
Education and Technical Skills
- University Degree in Business or Engineering
- Previous proven work experience of the HVAC service industry
- Technical competence and understanding of HCAF products, preferably pumps, pressurisation equipment and booster sets
- Sales and Business Acumen
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Clean driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
