TA Nelson
Justteachers are working with a local school in Nelson for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school. The role is to start in September 2026 and has the potential to become permanent for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils’ learning and development both within the classroom and through targeted interventions.
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, promoting confidence, independence, and wellbeing.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers where required.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed at all times.
Pre-requisites:
- Previous experience working within a school or educational setting.
- A relevant qualification would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- A flexible and proactive approach to supporting pupils' needs.
