We have been baking and serving fresh bagels in the Brighton area for 30 years this year and are looking for a Supervisor to join our family run team part time, working mainly at our Bond Street store in the heart of Brighton, as well as occasionally working in our other stores located in Hove and on St James's Street.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining standards and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, being confident and reliable.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a background in food production, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency, while also fostering a positive work atmosphere.
Pay: £13.50
Key Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the store manager and managing shifts (without the store manager present).
- Supervising and working alongside the store team in their duties serving customers, filling bagels, making hot drinks and cleaning.
- Ensuring all food preparation tasks are being completed by the team ahead of upcoming peak demand or scheduled orders.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering stock to ensure smooth operations.
- Complete end of day till procedures.
- Monitoring the standard of service and guiding junior team members where appropriate.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, providing solutions to enhance customer experience.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the store and preparation areas.
- Ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure daily compliance checks are completed, and supporting the store manager with keeping paperwork up to date.
- Maintain current knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Taking customer orders and delivering exceptional customer service.
Experience:
