Responsibilities
- Provide expert hair cutting, coloring, styling, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and features
- Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction
- Mentor and train junior stylists, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages skill development and professional growth
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Upsell salon products and services effectively to meet client needs while increasing revenue opportunities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in accordance with industry regulations
- Stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and product innovations through ongoing education
Skills
- Proven experience in store management or salon leadership roles demonstrating organizational skills and team oversight
- Expertise in barbering techniques alongside traditional hair styling skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build lasting client relationships
- Proficiency in front desk operations including appointment booking systems and client record management
- Strong mentoring abilities to guide junior stylists in technical skills and customer interactions
- Skilled in eyelash extensions application and makeup artistry for comprehensive beauty services
- Effective upselling strategies combined with excellent communication skills to promote products and services confidently
