This is a new exciting role with the summer 2026 opening of our new Home of Golf Hub located at 70 Market Street in the town of St Andrews.
The Home of Golf Hub is for St Andrews Links to engage with Links Ticketholders, clubs, visitors and members of the public, to not only share more on what we do but to further cement our position as the Home of Golf and what that stands for.
A celebration of the brand, our Home of Golf Hub celebrates our history and is a place to share our aspirations for the future, telling the story of the Home of Golf to both well established and new audiences. As a dynamic store the hub will serve as a key pillar in our community of St Andrews.
The Home of Golf is a place for every golfer. It offers a warm and welcoming sense of camaraderie for those who share a passion for the game that was shaped in St Andrews.
We are recruiting a Customer Experience Associate to join us for the remainder of the 2026 season, until October 2026, on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a consistently high-quality experience to every visitor, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their time with us. As an ambassador for The Home of Golf, you will help create memorable experiences that reflect the rich heritage and world-renowned reputation of St Andrews.
St Andrews, separating the farmland and the dunes of the beach, was ideal for golf and, in 1552, Archbishop Hamilton issued a Charter formally recognising the right of the people of St Andrews to use the Links for golf.
Over centuries a recognised routing with set holes took shape and by 1764 18 holes were established, becoming the standard bearer for the game wherever it is played.
Over the next 250 years St Andrews Links would be transformed, undertaking a dramatic transformation of the golfing landscape with six further golf courses, three clubhouses, a state-of-the-art Golf Academy and five official stores, all making it the most renowned golf complex in the world.
If you love golf then there is no better place to work, however that isn’t essential to be a success here. As a custodian of the Links, we don’t need you to be a golfer, we simply need you to be brilliant at what you do and appreciate the game.
