Rhubarb is an independent bar and bistro located on Lark Lane, Liverpool's vibrant, bohemian hub near Sefton Park.
We are seeking an experienced bar tender and server to support the daily operations of our busy establishment. The ideal candidates will possess excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities and Duties include
- Drink Preparation: Mixing cocktails, pouring beer/wine, and preparing garnishes to high standards
- Customer Service: Greeting guests warmly, providing recommendations, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and handling table service
- Bar Maintenance: Keeping the bar clean, washing glassware, restocking ice, spirits, and mixers
- Operations & Compliance: Handling cash and card payments using POS systems, checking ID for age verification, and following licensing laws
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting is preferred
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding mixology, flavour balance, and drink garnishing is preferred
- Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and ability to work under pressure
- Attributes: A "can-do" attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality
