Job Overview
We are looking for an Import, Export & Customs Freight Forwarder to join our growing international freight and customs team in Tonbridge, Kent.
This is a varied role managing shipments by sea, road and air worldwide.
You will take ownership of shipments from quotation through to delivery, including customs clearance, documentation, customer communication and job costing.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage import and export shipments from booking to delivery.
- Prepare quotations and liaise with customers, carriers, hauliers and overseas partners.
- Maintain shipment files and documentation.
- Prepare and submit UK import/export customs declarations through ASM
- Resolve shipment issues and ensure customs compliance.
- Complete job costing, invoicing and file closure.
- Provide excellent customer service and shipment updates.
About you:
- Experience in freight forwarding and customs clearance.
- Knowledge of sea, road and air freight procedures.
- Experience completing UK customs declarations.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple shipments.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
