About the Role
We are seeking a fully qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team in Nottingham. The role involves carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and testing across construction and property projects, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades in residential and commercial properties.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance work.
- Conduct electrical testing, fault finding, and certification in line with UK regulations.
- Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and company safety standards.
- Liaise with site managers, contractors, and clients as required.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Skills & Experience Required
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent) desirable.
- Proven experience as a qualified electrician in the UK.
- Strong understanding of health & safety requirements.
- Full UK driving licence and own tools (van desirable).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
