Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking prior to spraying to ensure optimal finish quality
- Operate spray equipment and power tools safely and efficiently to apply coatings evenly across different materials
- Mix paints, primers, or sealants accurately using basic math skills to achieve desired consistency and color matching
- Conduct routine maintenance on spray equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing protective gear and handling hazardous materials responsibly
- Collaborate with team members on fabrication, assembly, or touch-up tasks as needed during production cycles
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and properly dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment
- Familiarity with fabrication processes, including working with various materials and finishes
- Basic math skills for measuring, mixing, and calculating coating quantities
- Previous warehouse experience or background in construction painting is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while adhering to safety guidelines
- Experience with welding or assembly tasks is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination for precise application of coatings
