This role is a key position within the Sigma Quality team responsible for the delivery of Quality manufactured product.
The role will be responsible for managing and supporting internal and external quality issues as well ensuring the facility is compliant with all customer and regulatory requirements. Occasional support may be required for the Farnborough facility.
Key role expectations:
· Supporting the manufacturing process with quality issues.
· Overseeing daily KPI’s & running KPI reports.
· Driving best in class standards with RFT and scrap reduction.
· Maintaining quality standards, procedures, and specifications for the Company.
· Taking part in all external & internal Audits.
· Maintain existing procedures to ensure they meet the current guidelines.
· Developing quality standards through APQP/PPAP on new projects before launch.
· Supporting with a technical gap analysis of customer specifications for NPI
· Supporting all customers with quality issues to ensure robust RCCA is carried out.
· Collaborating with external vendors and suppliers to ensure that they meet quality standards.
· Ensuring that all processes meet safety, legal and other national or international standard.
· Manage and monitor calibration of equipment
· Complete internal FAIR’s and review supplier FAIRs
You will:
· Experience in quality within a manufacturing environment – Automotive or Aerospace preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of Partners, senior managers, and subject matter experts
· Strong analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements
Desirable Skills -
· First Article Report, Green Belt Six Sigma, APQP/PPAP , Auditor AS9100D
· Ability to understand customer and international specifications
· Understanding of quality control processes and adherence to industry standards.
· Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
· Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders.
· Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
· Ability to work under pressure
· Willingness to take responsibility for the quality of personal work produced.
· Demonstrate a proactive attitude within your team at all times
· Reliable
· Experience of working with the demands of key customers
· Support with any audits associated to the process.

Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm
Friday 7:30am-12:30pm
Pay: £35,000.00-£46,000.00 per year
