Main purpose of job:BThis role is an integral part of the business, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness across office and operational buildings within a small family business. Work will take place in Grasmere and Hawkshead, so applicants must be able to drive between both locations.
Days of work: Sunday or Saturday
Hours of work: (anytime between 7am – 4pm) 4-8hrs.
Rate of pay: £20.00 per hour (age 23 and over)
Length of contract: Annual renewable with probationary period. No contract or agency cleaners.
Main tasks of the job:
- To provide a high standard of cleaning with care and attention.
- clean staff rooms, toilets and offices to a high standard.
- Carry out routine tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
- Empty bins and restock essential supplies across all work locations.
- Maintain cleanliness independently across sites in Grasmere and Hawkshead.
- Report any maintenance or cleaning issues promptly to the management team.
Suitable Candidate:
- Reliable and efficient
- Able to work independently to a high standard
- Presentable for working in a food production environment.
- Can deliver a first class cleaning duty.
- Relevant certifications (preferable).
To note:
- Must be able to provide both employment and character references.
- A confidentiality agreement must be signed.
- Compliance with the company’s Health & Hygiene policy is mandatory.
- Work visa sponsorship and live in accommodation are not available, applicants must live within Cumbria.
- A valid UK Driving Licence is required.
- Cleaning equipment and supplies included.
- No agency or contract cleaners will be considered.
