Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full Time Mower & Garden Machinery Mechanic & Sales person to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with a passion for repairing and maintaining various types of Mowers and Garden machinery and also passion for customer service and a drive to sell new equipment.
Duties
Conduct routine maintenance on all types of Mowers (both ride on & walk behind) and all types of horticultural equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, with the ability to work on their own initiative.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair services provided.
Liaise with Colleagues & suppliers and complete necessary paperwork.
Stock control
Have good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and demonstrate proper use and care of machinery to operators.
Build New Machinery.
Sell and merchandise new Machinery.
Collect & Deliver Mowers to Customers.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a Full UK Drivers Licence, with experience towing trailers an advantage.
- Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Have an eye for detail & Pride in their work.
Some weekend work required.
