Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Warehouse Sales Assistant specializing in E-commerce to join our fast-paced distribution center. Responsibilities
- Assist with materials handling tasks, including picking, packing, stocking, and preparing items for shipment
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move goods within the facility
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and completeness
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and ensure data accuracy
- Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before dispatching
- Support warehouse management with stock replenishment, organization, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Perform heavy lifting and mechanical tasks as needed to support daily operations
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations including picking & packing, stocking, and load & unload activities
- Strong materials handling skills with familiarity in operating pump truck.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
- Mechanical knowledge useful for troubleshooting basic equipment or product issues
- Experience with shipping & receiving procedures ensuring timely dispatches and deliveries
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during stock movements
- Good understanding of quality control standards and safety protocols within a warehouse environment
Previous warehouse, e-commerce, retail, picking and packing, or online sales experience would be an advantage, but training can be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
