Hire Equipment Repair & Maintenance Assistant
Our continuing expansion has created an opportunity for a person who already has the ability or who wants to learn about repairing and maintaining electrical and non-electrical equipment.
Must have good communication and interpersonal abilities and the confidence to relate easily with colleagues and suppliers.
Who we are
SP Location Rental Ltd is an equipment hire company based in Essex, working mainly within the film, fashion and TV industries, with a loyal client base that expects nothing less than exceptional equipment and customer service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Learn how to maintain and repair our hire equipment.
-Learn Pat testing electrical equipment and keeping records (training and certificate can be given).
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of the company’s equipment for hire/sale.
- Supporting and communicating effectively with the office and driver’s teams.
- Undertaking any other duties which arise within the job holder’s capabilities.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure to set deadlines and prioritise tasks.
- A flexible attitude is a must.
- Go on deliveries/collections when required.
Skills/Qualifications:
Someone who wants to learn to repair and maintain our hire equipment, data entry skills, driving licence, scheduling, verbal communication, lifting, dependability.
In return we offer a competitive salary starting at £25,500 per annum depending on experience.
20 days holiday excl. bank holidays and the option for weekend overtime where it is available.
