Team Leader – Home Care

Salary: £25,000 per annum (salary review after 6 months with opportunity for increase)
On-call allowance: £75 per on-call week (approximately 1 week per month)

As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our supportive and ambitious team.
The Role
As Team Leader, you will report directly to the Registered Care Manager and play a key role in ensuring the safe, effective, and high-quality delivery of care services.
You will oversee care packages, ensure compliance with CQC standards, and support the ongoing development of care staff. You will also contribute to the growth and positive reputation of SureCare North Leeds by ensuring excellent service delivery at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Registered Care Manager
- Oversee and manage allocated care packages to ensure high-quality, person-centred care delivery
- Ensure all care records, care plans, and risk assessments are accurate, compliant, and regularly reviewed and updated
- Complete care plans, assessments, and risk assessments for new and existing customers
- Onboard new customers and ensure smooth transitions into the service
- Ensure all care delivery meets CQC regulations and internal quality standards
- Identify training needs and support the training and development of care workers
- Supervise, guide, and support care staff to ensure consistent service quality
- Complete service audits and contribute to quality assurance processes
- Participate in the on-call rota (approximately once per month) with a £75 on-call payment
- Promote and positively contribute to the reputation and development of SureCare North Leeds services
- Complete all required training and ongoing development as directed by the company
- Work collaboratively with the management team to support service growth and improvement
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in domiciliary care or a similar care setting
- Confident in care planning, risk assessments, and care coordination
- Strong understanding of CQC requirements and compliance standards
- A confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Proactive, positive, and committed to continuous improvement
- Able to manage priorities in a fast paced and growing service
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or over
- Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle
- Any offer is subject to DBS and reference checks.
Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
