Housekeeper/Cook required near Cirencester
Full-Time £45,000 - £45,000 per annum
Our lovely clients are seeking an experienced, hands-on Housekeeper who can also liaise confidently with the principals and their guests, as well as provide occasional light cooking. This is a varied and rewarding role, responsible for ensuring the home is welcoming, beautifully presented and runs smoothly at all times.
As this is the principals' second home, you will play a key role in preparing the property for their arrival and ensuring they, their family and guests enjoy a seamless and relaxing stay. You will report to the Estate Manager and family PA whilst working closely with the principals whenever they are in residence.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare the house for the arrival of the principals, their family and guests, ensuring everything is immaculate and ready at all times.
- Carry out all housekeeping duties to an exceptionally high standard, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry and deep cleaning.
- Take responsibility for all laundry, clothes care and ironing to the highest standard.
- Care for the principals' wardrobe, including the management of fine clothing and delicate fabrics.
- Ensure the house is well stocked with household supplies, pantry essentials, cleaning products and wine, discussing any significant purchases with the principals.
- Maintain adequate supplies of flowers and other household provisions to ensure the property is always ready for the family's arrival.
- Care for antiques, artwork and other valuable household items.
- Maintain hospitality supplies and household inventories, including the pantry, back-stock
- Run household errands, including grocery shopping and sourcing household items.
- Prepare simple meals for the principals when they are in residence and assist with food preparation and service when they are entertaining.
Flexibility, initiative and the ability to work independently are essential. The successful candidate will enjoy creating a warm, welcoming and relaxed environment, taking genuine pride in ensuring the property is always beautifully presented and ready for the family's arrival.

Hours - Monday to Friday with weekend availability
Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
