Job Overview
We’re looking for a Logistics Operative to join our Despatch team. This role is key to ensuring finished electronic products are accurately prepared, packed, and delivered to customers on time and to the highest quality standards. You’ll play an important part in supporting production and logistics, maintaining organisation, and delivering excellent service throughout the despatch process. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in warehouse operations, materials handling, or construction, who are looking to contribute to a dynamic logistics operation. The position involves working with various equipment and systems to facilitate the movement and storage of products, supporting overall supply chain effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare finished goods for dispatch
- Verify products, quantities, and documentation before shipment
- Package items safely to prevent damage in transit
- Prepare delivery notes, labels, and courier documentation
- Arrange courier collections and monitor deliveries
- Maintain accurate records using internal systems
- Support stock checks and inventory control
- Work closely with production and quality teams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Follow processes, quality standards, and health & safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or despatch (ideally manufacturing)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic IT skills and confidence using systems
- Good organisation and time management
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Understanding of health & safety practices
Desirable
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or handling sensitive components (ESD awareness)
- Familiarity with ERP or stock systems
- Forklift licence (if applicable)
- Knowledge of shipping or export processes
- Experience using barcode scanners

Pay: £12.77-£13.76 per hour
