Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal. As a Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal components to meet precise specifications while ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
Duties
- Weld and assemble metal components using various welding technique.
- Fabricate parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform inspections of completed welds to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the welding trade.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Mechanical knowledge to understand and operate welding machinery effectively.
- Experience working with sheet metal is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Saw Skilled.
- Forklift license required.
