We are seeking a highly organised and proactive office manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of our office. Knowledge of a trade background is essential for this role.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of our workplace by managing office procedures, supporting staff, and maintaining a productive and welcoming environment. Our office runs through a software and it is imperative that you have experience of using software's to coordinate and manager an office environment.
Key responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a professional and friendly manner.
- Use our software to manager our staff and client queries, logging all calls, enquiries and follow ups.
- Schedule staff diaries and maintenance call outs.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls. and answering our social media requests.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks and projects as assigned to you.
- Must be able to assist in constructing spreadsheets and excel sheets to monitor and manage the day to day running of the office.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office manager, trade supervisor, or similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and office management software.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
