What We’re Looking For
- GDC-registered Dental Hygienist with the relevant qualifications and professional registration.
- Excellent clinical knowledge and a strong commitment to preventative dental care.
- A genuinely patient-focused approach, with consistently high standards of care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Reliable, professional and well organised, with a commitment to delivering a consistently high standard of clinical care.
- A positive, team-focused attitude and a desire to contribute to a supportive practice environment.
- Experience using SOE would be advantageous.
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-employed Dental Hygienist to join our long-established, fully private and Denplan Excel dental practice in Ross-on-Wye.

Our comprehensive hygiene programme is a fundamental part of the care we provide and plays a central role in our preventative approach to dentistry. We are therefore looking for an additional GDC-registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a permanent basis for one day per week, every Wednesday.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop strong, long-term relationships with our patients while working within a practice that places a high value on clinical excellence, prevention and patient experience.

Your Role
As our Dental Hygienist, you will provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care while supporting our practice ethos of maintaining excellent long-term oral health.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene and preventative care to patients.
- Deliver a consistently high standard of clinical care in line with current professional standards and GDC requirements.
- Educate and motivate patients on effective oral hygiene and preventative care.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with patients and provide an excellent patient experience.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, dentists, nurses and the wider practice team.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support our comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Maintain full compliance with GDC regulations and professional standards.
