We have an exciting new vacancy for a Leisure Club Supervisor to join our team at Sprowston Manor Hotel & Country Club. Set within a beautiful 16th-century English manor, Sprowston Manor is a 126-bedroom hotel offering a fantastic range of facilities, including an 18-hole golf course, Health Club & Spa, two restaurants and a bar. As Leisure Club Supervisor, you will be required to:
- Support the Leisure Club Manager with the day-to-day running of the club.
- Demonstrate the safe and correct use of gym equipment.
- Monitor the gym floor and ensure equipment is used safely.
- Ensure the gym and leisure facilities are clean, presentable and ready for use at all times.
- Deliver fitness classes and workshops.
- Respond to membership enquiries and process membership amendments.
- Promote the Leisure Club within the local community to help drive memberships.
- Organise events for members and support local charity initiatives.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards throughout the club.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working within a leisure club, health club or fitness environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Organised, reliable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid Pool Responder Qualification (or equivalent) is essential, or willingness to complete the qualification before commencing employment.
- Level 2 and Level 3 Fitness Qualifications are desirable.
- Pool Plant Room Certificate is desirable.
- A positive, proactive approach with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
