As part of this, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Deputy Nursery Manager who wants to play a significant role in what comes next.
This is a senior leadership position for someone who understands what excellent early years provision looks like and has the confidence, experience and drive to help deliver it consistently across an entire nursery.
You won't simply support the Nursery Manager.
You'll be expected to lead people, develop other leaders, drive quality and take genuine ownership of standards across Beaulieu Park.

As Senior Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the Nursery Manager and wider leadership team to help turn those ambitions into consistently excellent everyday practice.

As Senior Deputy Manager, you'll play an important role in developing our Deputy Managers, Room Quality Leads and educators.
You'll coach, support and challenge the people around you.
You'll recognise talent and help develop it.
You'll establish clear expectations and help create consistency across rooms and teams.
And when something isn't at the standard it should be, you'll have the confidence and professionalism to address it and make sure improvement follows.
Leadership that is visible
We don't believe senior nursery leadership should happen entirely from an office.
You'll be visible throughout Beaulieu Park.
You'll spend time in our rooms, observe practice, speak with educators and understand the experiences children are receiving.
You'll recognise excellent practice and celebrate it while also identifying opportunities to improve.
From safeguarding and interactions to environments, routines and the implementation of the EYFS, you'll help ensure that our expectations translate into what children experience every day.
A genuine senior leadership position
The Senior Deputy Manager should be someone the Nursery Manager can genuinely rely upon.
You'll support the effective day to day operation of Beaulieu Park while taking significant responsibility for quality, people and standards across the nursery.
You'll support the wider leadership team, help ensure decisions are followed through and provide confident leadership when challenges arise.
When the Nursery Manager is absent, you'll be capable and confident in taking responsibility for the nursery.

What you'll be responsible for
As Senior Deputy Nursery Manager, you'll take a significant role in the leadership and operation of Beaulieu Park.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading alongside the Nursery Manager and supporting the effective day to day operation of the nursery
- Providing visible, positive and professional leadership throughout the setting
- Leading, supporting and developing Deputy Managers, Room Quality Leads and educators
- Driving consistently high standards of education, safeguarding and care
- Monitoring quality through room walks, observations and professional feedback
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring actions are followed through
- Supporting high quality implementation of the EYFS and Development Matters
- Coaching and developing educators and emerging leaders
- Supporting induction, probation, supervision and performance development
- Helping create a positive professional culture with clear expectations and accountability
- Building strong relationships with children, parents and families
- Supporting effective staffing, deployment and organisation
- Ensuring policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements are consistently followed
- Providing safeguarding leadership and acting as a Designated Safeguarding Lead when required
- Taking responsibility for the nursery in the Nursery Manager's absence
Who we're looking for
You'll need a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification, excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding, and significant experience within early years.
We're looking for an established leader with the confidence and capability to operate at senior level across the nursery.
You may already be a Senior Deputy Manager looking for an exciting new challenge.
Or you may be a highly successful Deputy Nursery Manager who has demonstrated that you're ready for greater responsibility.
