Job Summary
We are seeking a Cleaner to join our team, working on a Saturday morning in Segensworth. The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience and be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
The cleaning is for 2.5 hours to be carried out on a Saturday morning between 8am and 1pm.
You are entitled to 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part time hours). Other than approved annual leave, you will need to be able to work each shift.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages
- Ensure all surfaces are free from dust, dirt, and stains, paying close attention to detail
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to management
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is essential
- Proficient in English for effective communication with team members
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
