- Location: Swindon
- Pay: £13.23 per hour
- Shifts: Monday to Friday
- Early Starts: 05:00–06:30
- Late Starts: 12:00–13:30
Role Overview
You'll be delivering furniture to residential customers alongside a driver's mate. Some deliveries will be simple drop-offs, while others will involve carrying furniture into customers' homes and assembling it where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver furniture to customers across the region
- Load and unload vehicles (heavy lifting involved, up to 150kg with assistance)
- Work closely with your driver's mate to provide excellent customer service
- Follow all road safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
- Aged 21+ (insurance purposes)
- Minimum 1 year's driving experience
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Experience in multi-drop or furniture delivery
- Furniture assembly experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Important Information
- This is a temporary role, and we cannot guarantee 5 days' work every week. Working hours will depend on the client's workload.
- You must be flexible and willing to work as a Driver's Mate or in the warehouse if requested by the client.
