Job Description:
The Walker Group are seeking 2 skilled, efficient and driven Night Wardens to assist us on a permanent basis, to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, ensuring security of doors, windows and gates.
The roles will involve working across two different sites, depending on business requirements:
- Holiday Park – patrolling the site throughout the night, monitoring security and providing a friendly and professional presence. The role may involve interaction with guests, so excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
- Construction Site – carrying out regular patrols and security checks, monitoring the site for any signs of intrusion, damage or other issues and reporting any concerns promptly.
What you will be doing:
- Answer alarms and investigate all disturbances
- Providing a calm, efficient, courteous and flexible customer service
- Monitoring, patrolling and guarding against potential security breaches
- Circulating amongst visitors, patrons and employees, to protect property and preserve order
- Supporting colleagues in any required ad-hoc duties necessary for successful running of the sites
- Deciding when appropriate to call emergency services when/where necessary
- Follow weekly work schedule as set out by supervisor/manager
- Write and feedback reports of nightly activities and irregularities
What we are looking for:
- Full clean driving license
- Practical experience of working in a security team (desired)
- A commitment to customer service
- Ability to work independently at night
- A good working knowledge of public safety law/procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- A flexible approach
- An ability to work/remain calm under pressure
- Have a responsible approach to security and safety and professional when dealing with unexpected situations.
