Assist Knowledge Development Limited (AssistKD) is a specialist training company delivering training courses for individuals who work with many blue chip and large government organisations.
The Digital Content Development (DCD) Team is responsible for designing and producing engaging digital content – from interactive eLearning courses to eye‑catching website assets and social media visuals. We also continually enhance and maintain existing materials to ensure they stay fresh, relevant and aligned with course syllabuses.
As a Trainee Digital Content Developer, you’ll be part of a collaborative, creative team and play a key role in shaping how learners and customers experience AssistKD online.
Job Purpose and Duties
The role primarily involves designing, developing and refining AssistKD’s digital content using a range of software products including Articulate Storyline 360, Canva, DaVinci Resolve, ElevenLabs and a range of emerging AI‑powered tools.
Typical duties will include:
· Developing interactive eLearning courses, from concept through to final production.
· Creating digital content for our website.
· Designing engaging visuals and short‑form videos for social media channels including LinkedIn and YouTube.
· Collaborating with colleagues across the business to ensure content is accurate, visually appealing, and aligned with our brand.
· Enhancing and updating existing digital materials based on syllabus changes, feedback, and new design approaches.
· Researching emerging trends in digital learning, content creation, and online engagement to keep our output fresh and innovative.
Personal Skills
We are looking for someone who is creative, organised, and interested in digital content. You don’t need to be an expert as full training will be provided, but you do need enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
· Confident using Microsoft 365: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
· A genuine interest in digital technology and creative tools.
· Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality work.
· Ability to plan and organise your own workload.
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
· A professional, positive, and proactive attitude.
Qualifications
· GCSE Maths and English or equivalent (required).
· A-levels or equivalent (required)
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (desirable).
