Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation across various outdoor and indoor environments. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
- Maintain outdoor spaces through gardening, landscaping, and horticultural activities
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for maintenance tasks such as repairs or installations
- Assist with landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising
- Use machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems for specialised tasks
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Support construction or renovation projects as required
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order and report any faults promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all activities
Skills
- Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to maintenance tasks and equipment operation
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools for various repair and maintenance duties
- Familiarity with operating excavators and irrigation systems is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good understanding of construction processes and general maintenance procedures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor or indoor environments
- Attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety and cleanliness
