Job Title: Engineering Technical Trainer
Salary: £27500 -32,000
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Role Overview
- Delivering technical training to a range of learners
- Preparing and developing training content, presentations and learning materials
- Translating complex technical concepts into clear and engaging training
- Supporting both practical and classroom-based learning
- Working closely with the wider training team to deliver a high-quality learner experience
- Keeping your technical knowledge up to date with emerging technologies and industry developments
- Contributing ideas to continuously improve training programmes and delivery
- Travelling internationally on occasion to support training activities, typically around 2–3 weeks per year
About You
We’re open-minded about your background. You could be a recent graduate, an early-career engineer or technical professional, or someone looking to move into training from another technical environment.
We’re looking for someone with:
- A strong level of technical competency and a solid understanding of technical concepts
- A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm to learn and develop
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to explain technical information clearly and confidently
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Confidence working with a range of people and learning styles
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career in technical training
Previous training or teaching experience is not essential.
This role would suit someone early in their career who has a strong technical foundation and the potential to develop into an excellent trainer.
