About Us
At Atlanticbike, we design and manufacture premium metal and timber structures, purpose-built for residential properties across London.
The role is centred on our own range of products and systems, which we're developing and refining all the time - combining repeatable production with bespoke fabrication, custom assemblies and ongoing product development. Most of our work involves steel, stainless and aluminium combined precision fabrication for design-led residential projects. We are a small, experienced team with high standards, a well-organised workshop and a strong emphasis on doing things properly.
The Role
You will be involved in the fabrication and assembly of our products including:
- TIG Welding steel and stainless parts and assemblies
- Fabricating from steel sections and folded sheet metal parts
- Finishing welds to a high standard where required
- Working accurately from technical drawings
- Folding laser-cut parts on a press brake and turning them into functioning components
- Preparing work for powder coating
- Mocking up and assembling bespoke structures in the workshop
- Joining site installations in London with the team approximately one day per week
What We're Looking For
By senior we mean: 8+ years of precision, finish-quality fabrication. You are fast as well as accurate. You've worked from tight drawings and been held to a visual standard, not just a structural one. If that's not you yet, we are also hiring at mid-level - please see our other listing.
- Proficiency in TIG welding
- Sheet metal fabrication experience across different products and industries
- Comfortable reading and working accurately from drawings
- Strong understanding of finishing standards and tolerances
- Reliable, practical and detail-oriented
- Full UK driving licence preferred
What The Job Is Like
- Small, experienced team where you know every project you've worked on.
- Varied work with a mix of repeatable systems and bespoke fabrication
- High standards of finish and accuracy
- Clean, organised workshop environment
- Real opportunity to contribute ideas and shape how we work
- Your work ends up on some of London's best streets. It's visible, it's credited, and it matters.
