Duties
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Oversee financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in financial services
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Support financial management activities by monitoring budgets, forecasts, and variances
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering professional development and teamwork
- Maintain detailed records of all financial activities, audits, and reconciliations for transparency and accountability
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft is essential
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles within the financial services industry
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in managing accounts payable and receivable
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare comprehensive reports confidently
