Due to continued expansion we now have an opportunity to welcome a trainee butchers to our business in Maguiresbridge. Working with an experienced team of butchers, you will learn a trade that is high in demand.
Duties include:
- Breaking down carcases into primary and secondary cuts
- Processing meat using knives, cleavers, saws, and other equipment.
- Preparing cuts for weighing, packing and sale or further processing
- Preparing meat-based products and meat derivatives
- Displaying cuts at meat counter and selling cuts to the public
- Listening to customers and answering their questions related to the products provided.
- Preparing orders for customers
