We are seeking a customer centric and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor, reporting to the Store Manager, who can coach, lead and inspire a high performing restaurant team. Ultimately offering customer service excellence, whilst delivering an outstanding sales performance!
Duties & responsibilities:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant
- Providing & inspiring customer service excellence
- Creating a positive and high performing team culture
- Ensuring high standards of restaurant presentation
- Training and developing staff
- Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction
- Ensuring customer service guidelines are clear and embedded in all staff KPI’s
- Organising staff shifts and scheduling
- Customer management to ensure any concerns or issues are resolved
- Providing constructive customer feedback to the kitchen team with regard to the menu
- Ensuring all staff and customers are safe and that all food safety procedures are followed according to regulations
- Following all company policy and procedures regarding dealing with cash, equipment and property
- Managing and auditing supplies and equipment inventory levels to ensure product availability, and ordering as required
- Working closely with management
- Opening/closing the department
Skills & Qualifications
- Restaurant service experience to a supervisory level
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, possessing excellent conflict & performance management skills
- Exceptional organisational and leadership skills
- Outstanding customer service approach
- Ability to work well with others displaying exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
- Dependable and reliable
- Business management skills
- Knowledge of food production and preparation
- Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Qualifications in hospitality preferred but not essential
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a fast paced hospitality environment
- Customer service experience (3+ years)
- A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
