Job Title: Class 2HGV Driver
Reports To: Transport Manager / Transport Planner
Hours of Work: Between 7.30am – 5.00pm / Monday – Friday (Plus overtime requirements)
Location: Newtown
Rate of Pay: Approx: £36,500 P/A based on 48hr week.
Weekly extra loads delivered bonuses.

G. Owen & Sons is looking to employ a Class 2 HGV Driver on a full-time basis who has a good experience of the transport industry. You will be required as part of the team to deliver a range of products from our site and customer premises to various locations mainly in the locally area, on one of our Bulk Blower rigid vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
· Delivering mainly bulk feeds from our site/customer sites to farms.
· Potential to deliver other products to customer premises.
· Maintain compliance with our company accreditation requirements.
· Ensure all required paperwork is accurate and completed.
Requirements:
· Experienced HGV driver with CPC.
· Clean license, no pending prosecutions.
· Be able to communicate well at all levels within the business.
· Be a highly motivated individual able to work as part of a small friendly team, and under own initiative.

Exceptions to the job:
· You may be required to assist with other occasional driving duties – transit van deliveries / cover for curtain sided rigid vehicles.
