We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Security Officer / Door Supervisor to join our team working at Tenpin Wrexham.
The Role
This is a customer-facing security position within a busy leisure environment. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for customers and staff while representing both Leisure Guard Security and our client to a high professional standard.
The successful candidate must be confident dealing with members of the public, able to remain calm under pressure and comfortable working in a busy environment during evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff
- Providing a professional and approachable security presence
- Monitoring customer behaviour and identifying potential issues before they escalate
- Dealing professionally with incidents, disturbances and challenging behaviour
- Managing conflict and using appropriate de-escalation techniques
- Supporting venue management and staff when required
- Conducting regular patrols of the premises
- Ensuring venue policies and procedures are followed
- Accurately reporting and recording any incidents
- Liaising with management, emergency services and other relevant parties when necessary
- Delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Have previous professional security experience
- Be available to work evenings and weekends
- Have strong communication and customer service skills
- Be confident dealing with difficult or challenging situations
- Have a professional, smart and approachable manner
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Have a good understanding of conflict management and de-escalation
Experience working within leisure, hospitality, licensed premises, entertainment venues or similar customer-facing environments would be advantageous.
