We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Is a qualified Dental Nurse or a trainee Dental Nurse
- Is GDC-registered (if already qualified)
- Has a warm, friendly manner and excellent communication skills
- Is a team player and can take instruction from management
- Enjoys working as part of a close-knit, collaborative team
- Is organised, reliable, and motivated
- Takes pride in delivering excellent patient care
- Is keen to learn, develop, and grow within a supportive practice
- Has reception experience (preferable but not essential as training provided)
Your main role will be to:
Clinical (Dental Nursing)
- Provide chairside support to clinicians during dental procedures
- Prepare and maintain surgery environments to a high clinical standard
- Ensure correct cross-infection control and decontamination procedures are followed
- Assist with patient care before, during, and after treatment
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and logbooks
- Ensure equipment and materials are prepared, maintained, and restocked
- Support a calm, reassuring experience for patients
- Adapt to each dentist way of working
- Ensure laboratory work is ready in a timely manner
Reception & Administration
- Welcome patients warmly and professionally on arrival
- Manage appointment bookings, recalls, and diary management
- Handle phone calls, emails, and patient enquiries efficiently
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Support smooth patient flow throughout the day
- Maintain confidentiality and GDPR compliance
- Assist with general administrative duties as required by management

Pay: £10.85-£14.00 per hour
