We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals looking to contribute to a professional environment while balancing other commitments. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position is paid and ideal for those who take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and other business premises
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas regularly
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to manage daily cleaning tasks efficiently
