JPS are a leading independent powered access hire company, with a team of 11 HGV drivers responsible for the safe and timely delivery of powered access equipment to our customers. We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect powered access equipment efficiently and accurately
- Ensure delivery records are completed correctly
- Maintain communication with the hire desk regarding schedules and delays
- Adhere to driver hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy at all times
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections
Requirements
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC qualification card
- Digital tachograph card
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Previous multi-drop experience preferred but not essential
£16.00 - £17.00 / hour (plus overtime and bonus)
