Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to private client solicitors, including managing schedules and correspondence
- Prepare and draft legal documents, letters, and reports with precision using audio typing and Microsoft Office tools
- Organize and maintain client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
- Assist with client communications via phone, email, and in-person meetings, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Conduct research and gather information relevant to estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate matters
- Manage incoming calls efficiently using Microsoft Outlook and ensure timely responses to client inquiries
- Support the team in preparing presentations and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for internal meetings or client updates
Skills
- Strong audio typing skills with high accuracy and speed to support document preparation
- Proven administrative experience within a legal or professional environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook for daily tasks and document management
- Sound IT skills with the ability to adapt quickly to new software or systems used within the firm
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail for managing multiple priorities efficiently
- Effective time management abilities to meet deadlines in a busy legal setting
