Job Title: Retail & Car Parts Fitting Assistant
Role Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team in Downend. In this role, you will provide premium customer service and expert guidance across our extensive range of automotive components, accessories, detailing products, and travel solutions, including roof bars. This position seamlessly blends front-of-house customer relations with hands-on, entry-level vehicle maintenance. While mechanical aptitude is advantageous, comprehensive training will be provided for all technical and fitting tasks.
Position Details
- Contract: Full-time
- Hours: 5 days per week (includes 1 weekend day)
- Location: Downend, Bristol, BS16 6BQ
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet visitors, answer questions, and operate the till.
- Parts Fitting: Install wiper blades, car bulbs, and vehicle batteries.
- Stock Management: Replenish shelves, check deliveries, and maintain displays.
- Store Upkeep: Keep the shop floor and fitting bay clean.
Requirements
- Practical Skills: Comfortable using basic hand tools for simple installations.
- Location: Commutable distance to our Downend shop in Bristol.
- People Skills: Friendly, approachable, and keen to help customers.
- Reliability: Punctual, organized, and committed to weekend shifts.
- Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting car batteries and standing for long periods.
- Experience: Previous retail or automotive experience is preferred but not essential.
