Main purpose of the role:
- Undertaking all aspects of administration, including document data entry, filing and running reports
- Raise and submit warranty pre‑approvals in line with manufacturer guidelines and business requirements
- Prepare, submit, and monitor warranty claims, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Monitor the progress of warranty repairs and proactively chase updates where required
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, maintaining clear, professional, and proactive communication throughout the warranty process
- Effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines, service levels, and business expectations
- Manage and resolve warranty‑related queries, issues, or complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring satisfactory outcomes for all parties
- Identify and escalate complex or technical issues to the relevant Technical Manager when appropriate
- Support the wider team and business by undertaking additional responsibilities outside of the normal role as required.
- Monitor the progress of repairs and chase progress as needed
- Maintain proactive communication with customers
- Effectively prioritise workload
- Actioning any issues, queries or complaints arising so that any problems are resolved, in a timely fashion and to all parties’ satisfaction
- Escalating any complex issues to the relevant Technical Manager
- Taking on other responsibilities outside of normal role as required
To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:
- Previous administrative experience (essential)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Attention to detail
- Action and customer focused
