Senior Financial Controller
Liverpool (Hybrid) | £75,000–£85,000
We have an exciting opportunity to join an established professional services business at a pivotal stage of growth and transformation.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll lead the day-to-day finance function, strengthen controls, develop the team and play a central role in implementing a new business management system.
This isn’t a traditional, month-end-focused role. We’re looking for an improvement-led finance leader who can modernise processes, increase automation and build a scalable, technology-enabled function.
The opportunity
Lead and develop the finance team
Own financial control, management accounts and audit readiness
Improve processes, reporting and data quality
Support a major systems implementation
Strengthen cash flow, working capital and debt management
Introduce greater structure, accountability and efficiency
About you
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
Experienced Financial Controller, Senior Financial Controller or Head of Finance
Expertise in the Professional Services sector
Strong controls, governance and compliance background
Proven team leadership and development experience
Track record of improving finance processes
Confident supporting systems implementation and business change
Pragmatic, commercially aware and comfortable driving change
