Personal Assistant
Location: Hyde
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Part-time, approximately 16 hours per week
Job Type: Temporary sickness cover, with the possibility of becoming permanent

About the Role
I am looking for a reliable, practical and trustworthy Personal Assistant to support me at home while my current PA is off sick. This is a temporary role, but it may lead to a permanent position if the arrangement works well for both sides.
I live in Hyde with my two children. I am physically disabled, use crutches, and have chronic pain, so I need support with day-to-day household tasks, organisation, errands and general family life.
The role is varied. Some days may be general housework and meal preparation, other days may involve helping me stay on top of paperwork, shopping, collecting prescriptions, or helping around the house.
You will be working in my family home, so I need someone who is professional, dependable, respectful and able to keep clear boundaries.
Work Environment
This is a home-based role with a relaxed but professional atmosphere.

Main Duties
The role may include:
- General housework
- Tidying and helping keep the home organised
- Meal preparation
- Laundry and household jobs
- Shopping, collecting prescriptions and running errands
- Helping with paperwork and day-to-day organisation
- Supporting me to manage practical tasks around the home
- Communicating clearly with me about what needs doing
- Working alongside, or around, other PAs when needed
- Covering additional hours during holidays or sickness, where agreed

You must not discuss anything about me, my children, my home, my health, our routines, or anything you see or hear during work with anyone outside of the role. This includes friends, family, social media, or other people in the local community.
I need someone who understands that trust, privacy and professionalism are a central part of the job.

Experience
Preferred but not essential:
- Personal Assistant or care experience
- Home care or family support experience
- Cleaning, organising or household support experience
- Experience around animals or ponies
- Driving licence
Pay and Employment
Pay is £12.71 per hour.
Payment will be made through PayPartners.
This is a temporary sickness cover role, but it may become permanent depending on my ongoing support needs and whether the role is a good fit.
