Norfolk County Council is looking for an experienced and inspiring leader to join our Prevention and Early Help Service as a Team Manager (Best Start Inclusion).
This is a unique opportunity to lead a newly established county wide team of Best Start Inclusion Practitioners who will provide flexible, practical and evidence-based support to children aged 0 to 5 years with emerging additional needs and their families. Working across our network of Best Start Family Hubs, outreach locations and community settings, you will help ensure children receive the right support at the right time, improving developmental outcomes and reducing inequalities.
Successful candidates will lead and develop a team of 7 to 8 Best Start Inclusion Practitioners, providing professional leadership, supervision and support to ensure high-quality practice and positive outcomes.
They will work closely with Community, Inclusion, SEND and Early Years professionals to ensure the Best Start Inclusion offer complements existing services and pathways, enabling children's and families' needs to be identified and supported at the earliest opportunity.
