Advanced CAD/CAM Engineer
Design and Supply Ltd has been a trusted steel door manufacturer for over 30 years, delivering durable, bespoke solutions to the construction, commercial, and residential sectors. We are looking for an Advanced CAD/CAM engineer to join our expanding team and support the delivery of high-quality products within our Slimline steel glazed door department.
The responsibilities of an Advanced CAD/CAM engineer are as follows:

Be an efficient and supportive part of our design team.

Responsible for the input of design parameters into bespoke automation software.

Provide and be able to interpret detailed integration drawings including steel curtain walling for architects, contractors and manufacturing.

Provide technical assistance to architects, contractors and production.

Attending design meetings on site when required

Attend meetings with senior staff to help identify and resolve any issues.
The successful applicant will have the following characteristics:

Excellent time keeping and prioritization skills.

A keen eye for detail when assessing architect drawings and site requirements.

Experience in working with architects and construction industry is essential.
-
Experience using CAD/CAM software essential.
-
A methodical and consistent mindset is essential.
-
Experience with building regulations relating to drawings is highly desirable.

Hours:
39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 7.30am – 4.00pm
Friday: 7.30am – 3.00pm
Salary will be dependent upon applicant’s ability.
