We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day supply basis in secondary schools across Prestatyn and the surrounding Denbighshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, youth workers, sports coaches, or anyone with experience working with young people.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during the absence of the classroom teacher.
- Ensure students remain engaged and complete the work set.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Create a positive and productive learning environment.
- Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- Confident communication and strong classroom management skills.
- A positive, professional, and adaptable attitude.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- The right to work in the UK.
