Required Experience
Applicants must have previous UK construction experience as a Project Manager, Site Manager or Assistant Project Manager on façade, cladding, external envelope or related construction projects.
Candidates should have worked on at least one project involving one or more of the following:
- Façade
- Cladding
- Brickwork
- Roofing
- External Envelope
- Curtain Walling
- Rainscreen Cladding
- Steel Framing Systems (SFS)
- Fire Remediation
- Fire Barriers / Cavity Barriers
Applicants should ideally have previous experience working with at least one of the following main contractors or developers:

Responsibilities
- Managing façade and external envelope projects
- Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
- Monitoring programme and progress
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Reviewing specifications and technical information
- Managing quality, health & safety and project documentation
- Liaising with clients, consultants and main contractors
- Attending site meetings
- Managing procurement and material deliveries
- Resolving technical and construction issues
Essential Requirements
Applicants must be able to demonstrate their previous experience.
Suitable evidence may include:
- Project portfolio;
- Site photographs;
- Progress photographs;
- Completed project photographs;
- Drawings and technical details (where permitted);
- References;
- CV detailing project history.
Candidates should be prepared to discuss previous projects during the interview and explain:
- Their role;
- Project value;
- Scope of works;
- Main contractor;
- Challenges encountered;
- How those challenges were resolved.
Technical Skills
Applicants must be able to:
- Read architectural and construction drawings;
- Understand façade details and interfaces;
- Interpret specifications;
- Coordinate multiple subcontractors;
- Identify construction risks;
- Use Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Procore, Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, BIM 360, SnagR or similar construction management systems is advantageous.
Interview Process
Successful applicants will complete:
- Technical interview;
- Practical discussion of previous projects;
- Review of portfolio and supporting evidence;
- Assessment of drawing interpretation skills.
Candidates who are unable to provide sufficient evidence of previous project management experience may not progress further in the recruitment process.
Pay: £280.00 per day
